summer days...

Isn't this so perfectly lovely?  I took some family friends visiting from New Zealand down to Coolangatta Beach yesterday…a special request from one young lad with surfing as his passion.  He loved it!

Quite a pretty way to end 2013 don't you think?  This year has been quite a mixed bag…some difficult and turbulent times and some truly magical times which hold great promise of exciting things in 2014.

My wishes for the coming year…

more long walks

more laughter

Despite being battered and bruised in the ferocious hail storms we experienced a few weeks ago, these beauties are flourishing…a lesson for us all perhaps.

This past weekend I spent some time in South Australia on The Murray River.  I had no idea just how quintessentially Australian this part of the country was.  So much beauty despite the harsh, dry conditions…so breathtaking because of that.

There was fun and laughter and so much more…it was all sorts of wonderful.
